Common Criteria certification
StoneGate 4.2.2 has completed Common Criteria level EAL 4+ certification. Common Criteria is an international certification scheme setting standards for IT product security.

StoneGate has been awarded Common Event Format (CEF) certification from ArcSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARST)

FIPS certification
StoneGate 4.2.2 has received FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) certification. StoneGate version 4.2.2 has been certified against the latest version of the FIPS standard: 140-2. FIPS certification ensures cryptographic security of connections.

NSS Labs Network IPS
Comparative Test
The StoneGate IPS-1030, IPS-1060, and IPS-6105 appliances outperformed several industry-leading solutions according to the latest Network Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) Comparative Test Report from NSS Labs, Inc. Published in late December 2009, this report includes the results of extensive evaluations of 15 IPS products from seven vendors. Using its real-world testing methodology, NSS Labs compared IPS products against 1,159 live exploits in the industry’s most comprehensive test to date. ICSA Labs Certified Firewall
StoneGate has received Firewall Certification from ICSA Labs, a worldwide leader in setting security standards for information security products. ICSA Certification ensures enterprise customers that StoneGate offers the highest level of protection for the points at which corporate networks meet the Internet. The StoneGate Firewall has been tested and certified against the 4.1a criteria for Network firewalls.
ICSA Labs Certified Network IPS
The StoneGate IPS has received the ICSA Labs Network IPS Certification. Choosing a vulnerability set is the result of intense and detailed research followed by comparisons against other sources including the SANS Top 20. ICSA Labs performs this vulnerability set research twice a year, each time updating the set. This helps ensure that the attacks used in ICSA Network IPS testing continuously target relevant vulnerabilities in enterprise-class software. ICSA Certification ensures network security professionals that StoneGate IPS has satisfied 100% of the most rigorous and relevant testing criteria requirements approved by the industry.

VMware Certified Virtual Appliance Program
The StoneGate Virtual Firewall/VPN, StoneGate Virtual IPS and StoneGate Virtual SSL VPN solutions are VMware Ready certified. The VMware Certified Virtual Appliance Program enables developers of virtual appliances to market their solutions to customers and highlights the virtual appliances that are safe and ready-to-run in a production environment. By purchasing virtual appliances that have been certified by VMware, customers know they are obtaining solutions that are reliable, secure and optimized for a virtualized environment.
VPN Consortium Certifications
Virtual Private Network Consortium, better known as VPNC, is the international trade association for manufacturers in the VPN market. The VPN Consortium issues logos to products of member companies that have passed the interoperability and conformance tests it conducts. The interoperability logos indicate that a product interoperates with the other products in the test, and the conformance logos indicate VPNC's belief that a product conforms to various parts of the IPsec standards.

StoneGate has been achieved Secured by RSA Certified Partner status with RSA SecurID and RSA enVison products, signaling its compatibility with RSA Security's authentication and Security Information Event Management (SIEM) technology. The RSA Secured certification tells organizations that StoneGate is compatible with RSA Security's market-leading security products and technologies.
CSPN (First Level Standard Certification)
StoneGate Firewall has obtained elementary qualification in the French CSPN (First Level Standard Certification), delivered by the FNISA (French Network and Information Security Agency).
Certificates issued by the FNISA (known as ANSSI in France) by delegation from the Prime Minister certify that the qualified products comply with a technical specification referred to as the security target. The RGS (General Security Guidelines), first implemented by decree on May 6th 2010, forms the framework for CSPN certification. The ANSSI delivers proof of certification in accordance with the processes listed in the 2002-535 decree published April 18th, 2002.
