High-Availability Firewall and Multi-Link VPN
The StoneGate™ FW-5205 FW/VPN appliance is a firewall solution designed to meet the performance
and scalability requirements of data centers, large network central sites, MSP or other operator
environments demanding performance up to 50 Gbps. The FW-5205 is a scalable modular appliance that
has 6 interface card slots with suppor t of up to 38 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces or up to six 10
Gigabit interfaces together with twenty gigabit interfaces. Different interface modules provide
fast and flexible network segmentation at the perimeter or internal networks requiring high
performance.
In these demanding environments StoneGate™ FW-5205 FW/VPN provides not only reliable data
security but also high-availability features, which guarantee continuous information flow. Built-in
firewall clustering, server load balancing and the possibility to utilize reserve capacity on
overloaded Internet connections guarantee continuous network connectivity.
The robust construction of StoneGate™ FW-5205 ensures that appliance serves well even in the
most demanding environment. Redundant power supply units (PSUs) together with Solid
state disc drives ensure that the appliance is always protecting network resources.
